Software License Terms

Software License Terms

These terms apply to downloadable software products that are sold with a license key through this store. The seller identified in the Imprint / Legal Notice grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the purchased software under the license parameters shown on the relevant product page and order confirmation.

1. License scope

The permitted number of installations or activations, license tier, license duration and included update period are stated on the product page or in the order details. A license is issued only after the corresponding payment has been confirmed.

2. Activation

Licensed software may contact this store's license API to activate, validate or deactivate an installation. An activation may include a randomly generated installation identifier and the domain or site URL supplied by the software. The License Manager stores activation data required to enforce the purchased activation limit.

3. Permitted use

Unless a product expressly states otherwise, the purchaser may use the software only for their own business or projects within the purchased activation limit. Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, publication of the source package, sharing of license keys, or removing technical licensing controls is not permitted.

4. Updates and support

Access to updates is limited to the update period shown for the purchased product. A lifetime license does not automatically mean lifetime updates unless the product page explicitly states that updates are included for life. Support, hosting and custom development are included only when explicitly stated in the product description.

5. Suspension and revocation

A license may be suspended or revoked when the underlying order is cancelled, refunded or charged back, or when a license key is used beyond the purchased scope. An accidental activation can be reset by support after verification of the order.

6. Open-source and third-party components

Third-party or open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. These Software License Terms apply only to the seller's own rights in the purchased product and do not replace third-party license notices included with the software.

7. Statutory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes consumer or other statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. The Terms & Conditions, Digital Delivery & Refunds policy and applicable mandatory law continue to apply.
